additional information
Transcontinental and Western Airlines, “TWA”, flew the Consolidated 20-A Fleetster to carry mail and occasionally passengers on its east-west routes. By popular demand of the airline pilots, the pilot’s seat was still in an open cockpit or “out-in-the-cold”. Charles and Ann Lindbergh flew aircraft # NC13209 to Albuquerque on their honeymoon in 1932 while on their way to Cowels, N.M. This plane was sold in 1936 to the Republicans of Spain. One other plane that was documented landing at Albuquerque was NC13211.
