Overview

Cavalcade of Wings documents, displays, and maintains the history of aviation for Albuquerque, Kirtland Air Force Base, and the State of New Mexico. Our aviation museum is located at the Albuquerque Sunport’s Great Hall and is free to the public. Over 900 scale aircraft models are on display to tell the story of New Mexico’s role in aviation history. Each model represents the aircraft’s direct contribution to New Mexico’s history and that story is augmented with insignia, narratives, photos, and artifacts.

Location

The Cavalcade of Wings aviation museum’s scale aircraft model display is located at the Albuquerque Sunport’s Great Hall. The museum is free and open 7 days a week 24 hours a day!
